OUR STORY

Seaton Beach final hi res.jpg

We secured the site in June 2015 thanks to excellent legal work by Peter McHugh from Excello Law.

East Devon District Council (EDDC) and Seaton Town Council (STC) were consulted at early stages to provide design input and feedback. After an initial refusal, consultation with the neighbours and valuable ongoing guidance from EDDC planning officers, designs were revised.
They were granted planning  permission on 7th February 2017.

We then interviewed various RIBA architectural practices, knowing that a quality design would be required to meet the opportunity this project presented. We settled with Clifton Emery Design.

Lead architect Mark Timms was both creative and resilient in delivering a dreams by the sea design.

We then decided that Seaton Beach apartments will be Passivhaus certified, so we changed architects to Passivhaus experts Gale and Snowden. They specialise in Passivhaus construction and for over ten years have been working mainly with Exeter City Council, thanks to the driving force and vision

of Emma Osmundsen.

We are thankful to and recognise the talent and hard work put in by the Gale and Snowden architectural team and many other professionals. It is resulting in the construction of a beautiful
landmark building on Seaton seafront.

We are all excited to see this iconic building near it's completion.
